Job Description:
The BDR role plays a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads within the industrial sectors - Energy and/or Manufacturing. As one of the first points of contact for potential customers, the BDR is responsible for initiating meaningful conversations, following up on inbound leads, and executing strategic outbound outreach across email, phone, and social media. The role involves close collaboration with sales and marketing teams to develop account intelligence, support campaigns, and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities.
 
This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and experience with key sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in sales development, preferably in the technology or industrial sectors, and brings a passion for solving complex business challenges with data and AI. The BDR will also gather market insights, contribute to team strategies, and continuously optimize their approach to maximize impact.
 
Must Have Requirements:
+2 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within B2B technology or industrial sectors (e.g., manufacturing, energy, oil & gas).
Proven ability to generate and qualify leads through both inbound and outbound strategies.
Proficiency with modern sales and prospecting tools, including Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and HubSpot.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage both technical and senior-level stakeholders.
Ability to understand industrial challenges and workflows, and articulate how software solutions (including AI or data platforms) can deliver business value.
Organised and goal-oriented, capable of managing multiple accounts, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing.
Comfortable with structured sales processes and eager to continuously learn, optimise outreach tactics, and grow within the role.
Nice To Have Requirements:
Interest in different industries, industrial digitalization, and emerging technologies like AI and data-driven solutions.
Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles
Experience collaborating with account-based marketing teams
Knowledge of sales methodologies - specifically MEDDPICC
