Senior AI/ML Engineer (Healthcare AI) - Work From Home
 
Healthcare Experience Preferred
Experience with home health, hospice, EHR/EMR, OASIS, Medicare, claims, clinical documentation, or healthcare SaaS is highly desirable.
Experience with WellSky/Kinnser, HL7, or FHIR is a strong plus.
Ideal Candidate
A hands-on senior engineer who can take an AI concept from architecture → prototype → production, understands healthcare data and privacy requirements, and can work directly with clinicians and healthcare executives.

Responsibilities:
Design and build healthcare AI applications using LLMs, machine learning, RAG, and AI agents.
Develop AI solutions for clinical documentation, OASIS QA, referral/intake, billing, compliance, scheduling, and operational analytics.
Build AI agents capable of performing multi-step healthcare workflows with appropriate human oversight.
Develop NLP and document-intelligence solutions for structured and unstructured healthcare data.
Design AI evaluation, validation, monitoring, and guardrail systems.
Integrate AI models with healthcare applications and data platforms.
Help establish the architecture and technical roadmap for ABL's healthcare AI platform.
Work directly with clinical and operational leadership to convert healthcare problems into scalable AI solutions.
Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years of hands-on AI/ML experience.
Production experience with LLMs / Generative AI.
Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and API integration.
Strong understanding of machine learning and AI evaluation.
Experience building and deploying production software
