Qualifications
Prior experience with home health authorizations is required.
Hands-on experience with the Kaiser Permanente provider portal is required.
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and commercial insurance authorization requirements.
Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
Experience with WellSky/Kinnser is preferred.
Responsibilities
Obtain and manage authorizations for home health services, including nursing and therapy visits.
Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements.
Submit authorization requests and follow up with payers to ensure timely approvals.
Track authorized visits, expiration dates, and pending requests.
Coordinate with intake, clinical, and billing teams to prevent authorization-related delays and denials.
