Business Development Representative (French/German speaking)
 
Must Have Qualifications:
Languages: Fluent in either French and German; strong business English required.
Experience: 1-3 years of BDR, SDR, or inside-sales experience within cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology preferred.
Proven success meeting or exceeding lead-generation or meeting-booking quotas.
Strong understanding of prospecting techniques (multi-threaded outreach, sequencing, personalization).
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills - able to convey complex value propositions clearly and confidently.
Organized, data-driven, and proactive in managing time, pipeline, and follow-ups.
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo/Apollo preferred.
Nice to have Qualifications:
Knowledge of network security, firewall policy management, or cybersecurity solutions.
Experience working with multi-region teams across EMEA.
Understanding of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) or event-based campaign follow-up workflows.
Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting: Identify, research, and reach out to target accounts and decision-makers within the ideal customer profile (ICP) using a mix of phone, email, LinkedIn, and event-based outreach.
Lead Qualification: Engage inbound and outbound leads, uncover pain points, assess fit, and book qualified meetings for the Sales team.
Event Follow-Up: Support post-event and webinar initiatives by following up with attendees, nurturing interest, and converting engagement into pipeline opportunities.
Market Research & List Building: Build and maintain accurate target lists within CRM systems; segment by region, industry, and buyer persona (CISO, Head of Network Security, IT Infrastructure, etc.).
Territory Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Channel teams to align messaging, campaigns, and account-based strategies.
Quota Attainment: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings, pipeline creation, and opportunity conversion.
CRM Hygiene: Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) to ensure visibility and forecast accuracy.
Feedback Loop: Share insights from the field - objections, competitive intelligence, messaging feedback - to continuously improve go-to-market effectiveness.
