Role Summary/Purpose:
The Senior Specialist, Training - Development supports the development of frontline employees by ensuring they are trained for operational execution and the development of leaders by ensuring they are prepared to drive high performing teams through soft skill development. They also provide skills-based learning solutions to allow real-time enablement to bridge skill gaps, improvement in productivity, workforce readiness, reinforcing skills to ensure learning translates into real performance gains. This role is also involved in the successful onboarding of facilitators to the global operations training team.Essential Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and write highly interactive and engaging training objectives, using adult learning principles, that improve performance based on business needs
Synthesize information from needs assessments to make recommendations and develop innovative solutions for training program approach that align with business strategies and learning objectives
Work with Talent Development to gather feedback from stakeholders, to identify continual areas of performance improvements to maximize Return on Investment of training programs
Work with Talent Development to plan timelines, resources, and sustainment needed for new training objectives, or required of existing training programs, to ensure they create value for the business
Work with Talent Development to support delivery of training by assisting with logistics coordination including scheduling, booking venues, or setting up online training portals, and monitor attendance, participation, and engagement of training sessions
Create and maintain repository of training content and resources that employees can access as needed
Stay informed of latest trends, tools, and best practices in adult learning and update trainings to maximize effectiveness of programs based on this research
Periodically facilitate training sessions to educate employees on business practices and processes
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
3+ years' experience in classroom training facilitation
Knowledgeable of adult learning principles and performance improvement methodologies
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
Experience influencing and interacting with all levels of management
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Must be able to work required schedule of the role: Mondays - Fridays, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EDT
Ability to work flexible shifts which could change daily/weekly based on business needs
Must not be on active CAP (Formal/Final Formal)
Must be in current role for at least 12 months

2+ years' experience of measuring skills gaps to identify and create relevant learning solutions to target return on investment
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
