NURSE TRAINING ASSOCIATE
We are seeking a detail-oriented, clinically knowledgeable, and highly organized Nurse Training Associate to support our education and clinical training initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in direct patient care, clinical workflows, and adult learning practices-and is passionate about developing competent, confident clinical staff.
Position Summary
The Nurse Training Associate works with the Learning and Development team to develop, deliver, and monitor clinical training programs for caregivers, and other staff. This role supports both in-person and virtual clinical skills training, manages training documentation, and ensures compliance with state and federal training requirements.
Primary Duties
Assist with facilitating clinical skills training (personal care, infection control, mobility support, etc.).
Support RNs in creating training that meets state and federal compliance requirements
Provide coaching and refresher support to caregivers needing skills reinforcement.
Maintain compliance with state-specific competency standards.
Create and manage learner accounts in the LMS.
Assign clinical modules, skills checklists, and competency pathways.
Upload and organize clinical training materials and videos.
Monitor course completions and generate compliance reports.
Track credentials, and expiration dates.
Assist in developing and formatting clinical SOPs, skills checklists, and training materials.
Coordinate scheduling for training sessions and evaluations.
Support communication with caregivers, nursing staff, vendors, and partners.
Support clinical audit preparation related to training and competencies.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
1-2 years of clinical experience in a nursing/healthcare capacity, nursing accreditation required
Strong understanding of clinical skills and patient care standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience supporting clinical training or staff education.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
Experience in home care, long-term care, or community-based healthcare.
Ability to create or refine clinical training materials.
