Job description
Role and Responsibilities
Startup the underwriting team with own and company experience. Its mean that you should be familiar with Philippines expertise of data checking and verification.
Making phone verification efforts via outbound calls, data checking, credit information checking in compliance with company policy and you experience. Perform data evaluation from apps, request extra information from customer (when applicable)
Focus on a main KPI in Underwriting such as time to money and % of fraud applications
Prepare the day to day reporting about own activities via excel reporting
Coach the newcomers about underwriting Roles and Responsibilities, Be as unformal leader in your professional field
Participate in testing of new approaches in underwriting
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Ensure that processes and procedures are well documented and being executed upon
Provide feedback to Head of Operations on bottlenecks, suggest potential improvements
Achieve phone verification efficiency by increasing the completion rate made in a day.
WHAT DO YOU DO? (Duties/ responsibilities)
To perform the data checking via different systems and external resources to minimize the fraud rate
To search the opportunities to increase the handling time of each application, share new approaches to colleagues and management
To perform phone verification efforts through call outs; to record phone verification details made for each application.
To initiate update of information by recording discrepancies advised by customer through recorded phone conversation.
To achieve phone verification effectiveness and efficiency by increasing the completion rate made in a day.
To provide feedback to team leader on reasons for high cancellation rates.
To focus phone verification efforts on selected worklist and/or priority applications assigned by team leader.
Requirements

Minimum 1-year experience in MicroFinance company on a same position
Good verbal / written communication skills (driven voice, good pronunciation)
Clear communication. Attentive to details
Ready lo be leader of the underwriting in 3-6 month
