Responsibilities
Market Analysis, Benchmarking, and Internal Equity
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices in compensation and benefits.
Monitor and analyze internal pay equity and gender-pay equity across all positions in the organization.
Perform regular benchmarking exercises to assess the competitiveness of our compensation packages against industry standards and local markets.
Provide data-driven recommendations for adjustments to compensation structures to attract and retain top talent.
Compensation Strategy
Collaborate with regional counterparts and internal stakeholders to develop and refine the organization's compensation strategy, taking into consideration market data, financial constraints, and organizational objectives.
Collaborate with HR leadership and business units to align compensation practices with the company's goals.
Ensure the organization's compensation structure supports diversity and inclusion efforts.
Benefits Management
Collaborate with the People Services for the implementation and execution of employee benefit programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans.
Monitor benefit cost trends and make recommendations to control costs while preserving program quality.
Work with Internal Communications to periodically cascade benefits information to employees and serve as the point of contact for inquiries.
Payroll Review
Conduct comprehensive reviews of the payroll register to ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll adjustments, one-time payments, etc.
Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve any discrepancies, errors, or issues promptly.
Compliance and Reporting
Stay current on labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements, reporting obligations, and audits, including tax annualization and BIR 2316 filing.
Prepare and distribute regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics to senior management.
Data Analysis
Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to derive actionable insights from compensation and benefits data.
Identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement in the total rewards program.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g. CTRP, CCP, CBP) is a plus.
Proven experience in total rewards management, with a focus on payroll, market analysis, and benchmarking.
In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Attention to detail, ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, structured and well-organized, creative and out-of-the-box thinking are a must.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion.
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software.
