THE TEAM
As part of American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS), the leading issuer of commercial payment solutions to small, medium and large businesses globally and one of the fastest growing business units at American Express Australia with a culture of growth and success, American Express Foreign Exchange International Payments (FXIP) is a prominent player in the Australian FX market, offering our Corporate and Business clients' market leading service across their FX payment, product and cash flow needs.
We are currently hiring for an additional headcount - FXIP Digital Service Representative based out of our Manila office, working closely with our existing Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Acquisition team.
THE ROLE
This is a phone-based role responsible for establishing, growing and retaining a portfolio of newly acquired Small Business Clients. Developing consultative B2B relationships focused on driving growth accounts.
The successful candidate will achieve results through working with various internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and thoroughly understanding and deploying effective customer management strategies.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader of FXIP Early Engagement you will be tasked to activate, manage and grow accounts from day one. The role will also have the responsibility to develop strong relationships very quickly, and to make sure KPIs across the Sales and Account Development portfolios are met.
As the successful applicant you will have several key areas of focus:
Provide exceptional customer service to our business and corporate clients, demonstrating strong relationship servicing principles by building rapport with our clients.
Manage and grow our business through increasing our share of our clients' foreign exchange and domestic payments, delivering product cross sell opportunities where appropriate, or acquiring new clients through our customer referral programme.
Retaining and develop our clients through our key pillars of transparency, problem solving and relationship building.
Protecting our client relationships by engaging and delivering value through our win-back programme.
Working with internal partners to identify process improvements with the objective to improve overall client satisfaction/experience.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales-oriented individual, keen to pursue a career in sales or account development within GCS.
Qualifications
The role requires the following abilities:
Previous Outbound B2B Sales/Account Management experience preferred
Previous phone-based Sales experience (Required)
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to influence & grow business through value added conversations with business owners and other stakeholders such as accountants, financial controllers or CFOs.
Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You will be someone with an innovative mind looking for experience at one of the world's most respected companies. An appreciation of how to connect our brand values to our customers is important and a demonstration of analytic focus is vital.
You will be quick thinking, independent and used to a balance of pressure and a great work ethic. Stakeholder management is a must both within and outside the walls of the company so you will be a people person at heart.
Work from Home Requirements:
Must have at least 25 mbps internet connection plan / speed
Must have a private & quiet area to work at home
Must be amenable to work in Taguig once community quarantine measures are lifted
This role is not open to visa sponsorship according to business requirements.
