Banxa is looking for a passionate Customer Service Representatives to join our global team and ensure a high level of quality and delivery of our products. This role is fully remote.
Banxa is a digital banking infrastructure provider and fiat gateway partner for many of the world's biggest crypto currency exchanges like Binance, OKEx or KuCoin.
We were recently named one of Australia's fastest growing technology startups by Growthlist and one of 250 Global Crypto Companies to watch. We offer a fully compliant fiat-to-crypto conversion service that provides regulatory compliance, fraud detection and mitigation. Banxa addresses the issue of user experience and on-boarding while providing the much-needed regulatory assurances for newcomers to this nascent digital asset class.
You will work remotely with our Philippine-based support team and Melbourne-based head office. You will work on both our B2B and customer facing fiat-to-crypto exchanges. You will be part of a team required to build and maintain highly scalable and available systems that will operate globally.
The targeted start date for this position is ASAP. We have multiple remote positions available in Europe, Australia and The Philippines.
Your responsibilities
Responding to customer support inquiries (email only)
Performing some outbound phone calls (about 5 per day)
Processing payment orders
Reviewing customer details to make sure their payments are compliant with laws and regulations
Escalating issues to your team leader or managers
Providing training and assistance to other new team members when needed.
Requirements
Your skills
1 year of working experience handling chat and email support inquiries
Must have experience filing and managing tickets
Must be willing to work on weekends and holidays. We work on a rotational shift serving the Australian and European customers
Have exceptional conversational skills in English, both in writing and speaking
Fast internet connection (5mpbs broadband internet connection)
Laptop or Desktop (minimum Core i3 2.70GHz Laptop or Desktop, with 6-8 GB of RAM)

Understanding of the basics of the cryptocurrency market or trading is a plus but not required
Working experience in a startup / scale up
Previous experience in fully remote roles
