Work Schedule Standard Office Hours (40/wk)Environmental Conditions OfficeJob DescriptionJob Title: Sr Accounts Payable RepresentativeReports To: Manager, Accounts PayablePosition Summary:Performs basic to moderately complex accounting tasks associated with the preparation and maintenance of Accounts Payable and other financial matters.Key Responsibilities:Process invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month using any accounting ERPVerify all invoices for proper approval and valid GL numbersResearch and resolve supplier disputes and issues. Resolution to include root cause analysis and proactive steps to mitigate future issues.Align with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records, particularly in relation to Corporate Approved Authority Matrix.Adhere to contractual payment terms to ensure smooth operation of the business while improving cash flow.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Experienced with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards Financial Software a plusAbility to meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.Professional and customer focused with attention to detail.Experience in a corporate setting a plus.Excellent computer skills in Excel, MS Word.Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams from different areasEducation & Experience:University or College degree
Strong prior experience in Shared Services or Global Business Services preferred in an Accounts Payable function (1-3 years of relevant working experience)
