Job description
The primary purpose of this role is to build to acquire new Sea freight business and successfully integrate it into operations for the achievement of revenue budgets, sales targets and other criteria set with the General Manager of Sales and Marketing.
Your tasks and responsibilities

To oversee initial customer implementation processes until established
To develop and deliver sales proposals and product/services presentations
To provide the National Sales Manager with relevant, quantified and clear information relating to the market activity, market rates, and conditions to the product.
To complete credit applications in accordance with company policies and procedures and work in cooperation with the Finance Department to ensure appropriate management of debtors when they fall in allocated customer portfolio (i.e. debt collection)
Take appropriate corrective action and/or notify relevant person and office to prevent a re-occurrence of customer complaints.
To ensure that all locally required reports are completed within required deadlines and compliant to company QSHE and work instructions
Your skills and experience
Your Skills + Expertise
Diploma/Tertiary certification in Supply Chain or Business, with Degree qualifications, preferred
Minimum 4-5 years of logistics operational experience, within an International Freight Forwarding/Transportation industry
Working operational knowledge via Sea or Air Logistics will be useful
Good communication skills
