Patient Service Representative
DrCatalyst is a remote healthcare staffing organization that has over 250 billable staff from the Philippines. We are looking for a Patient Service Representative who has a background in insurance and medical billing to be assigned in contacting patients to follow up on balances, run payments and reports and answer billing related questions for US medical clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and health plans.
Location:
Work from Home/ Office-based
Hours:
You will be assigned to the Night shift, which is 8:00 pm to 5:00 am (PHT). At times you may be requested to work additional hours prior or after, to which you will receive pay for.
Holidays:
All national Philippines and USA holidays are observed, but Managers rotate to supply coverage only if billable employees are required to work.
Monthly Salary (not including bonuses):
PHP 18,000 - 23,000
Inclusive of 5,250 PHP for subsidies: rice, laundry, food, clothing, and more
5,000 New Hire Bonus
Responsibilities:
Answer or make calls for assigned clinic and performs at least 4 hours of talk time
Call and text patients to remind of balances, running payments and reports
Answer patient billing questions
Provide notes and messaging to onsite staff
Transfer calls to other departments
Requirements:
At least High School graduate
Has background knowledge of insurance terms
Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written (English fluency)
Computer literacy (should have knowledge of GSuite and Microsoft Office)
Prefers to work in shifting schedule (depending on the assigned clinic)
Pass Cognitive and Memory Tests and Typing speed of 35 wpm or more
Ability to use EMR and Gmail platforms
Apply clinic SOP protocols
Multi-tasking skills
Gmail knowledge and Clinic or Hospital experience is a plus but not required
High energy, hardworking, and enjoys speaking on the phone
Takes pride in the quality of his/her work
