🌟 We're Hiring: Mortgage Loan Processor! 🌟We're looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor / Financial Admin Support to assist a New Zealand-based adviser specialising in mortgages, managed funds, and KiwiSaver.The role focuses mainly on mortgage administration-collecting client documents, preparing and submitting loan applications, coordinating with lenders, and ensuring files are complete within 48 hours. You'll handle mostly investment property loans (not first-home buyers) and support 1-3 applications weekly, including refinancing and new lending.You'll also provide light admin support for managed funds and KiwiSaver, such as application handling and document follow-ups. Experience in financial data analysis or assisting with SOAs/ROAs is an advantage, as some ad hoc tasks may involve basic paraplanning support.What's In It For You?

What You'll Do:Pre-Submission
Assist the Broker by following up clients for required documents, credit guides, and privacy consents.
Complete credit checks and update client records.
Conduct servicing and initial assessments, ensuring fact finds and worksheets are accurate.
Prepare loan scenarios and structuring options tailored to the client's circumstances and lender requirements.
Draft compliance documents, application packs, and organise client documents into relevant categories.
Prepare applications ready for submission and liaise with the Broker for final review.
Post-Submission
Liaise with lenders to monitor application status, service-level agreements (SLAs), and outstanding requirements.
Draft and send client updates on conditional approvals and coordinate the collection of outstanding documents.
Submit outstanding requirements to lenders once completed.
Track and follow up loan applications until formal approval.
Refixing and refinancing support: Monitor loans nearing expiry and assist with refixing or refinancing processes by coordinating with clients and lenders, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Formal Approval & Settlement
Maintain accurate updates in tracking systems and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
Coordinate discharge requests, loan document issuance, and ensure signed documents are returned promptly.
Liaise with clients, lenders, and conveyancers to finalise settlement bookings.
Notify clients of settlement details and support the Broker in client handover.
Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and well-documented for compliance and audit purposes.
Client sign-off and acceptance: Handle acceptance forms and confirmations, ensuring all client documentation is completed and handed over in line with compliance requirements.
Ad hoc Support
Collect, analyse, and validate client financial information, including assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and insurance details.
Assist in preparing Statements of Advice (SOA) in line with regulatory and compliance standards.
What We're Looking For?
At least 3 years' experience in Parabroker, Mortgage Loan Processor, Broker Support, Paraplanning, or similar role within the AU and/or NZ mortgage market.
Holding a Certificate IV/Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking or Certificate in Financial Services is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of lending policies, compliance, and credit assessment criteria.
Proficiency with AdviserCRM, Zoho, and Planolitix highly preferred, or other similar tools such as Mercury, Apply Online, etc.
Ability to work across a variety of loan products such as investment property, residential, and refinancing.
High attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues in applications.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple applications, and meet tight deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
