Collaborates in developing high-level design documents, storyboards, and audio narration scripts.
Designs and develops engaging, interactive learning solutions aligned with instructional objectives and business performance goals.
Creates courseware for multiple delivery formats, including instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), asynchronous e-learning, and blended learning programs.
Utilizes adult learning theory and modern technologies (e.g., Web 2.0 tools, audio narration, voice-over, video, graphics, simulations, animations, scenarios, gamification) to enhance learning experiences.
Ensures all learning content meets accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.0 and Section 508.
Develops SCORM, AICC, or Tin Can/xAPI-compliant content compatible with various learning management systems (LMS).
Regularly updates and revises learning materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current requirements.
Adheres to all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Works under close supervision, receiving guidance from leadership as needed.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Qualifications & RequirementsEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Instructional Designer developing interactive, scenario-based, and multimedia-rich courseware.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE or similar).
Proficiency with eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora Inspire, Camtasia Studio, or similar software.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Experience using virtual training platforms (e.g., Adobe Connect, Webex) and managing or deploying content via LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Saba, CourseMill, SharePointLMS).
