As an IT Specialist (IC2), you will provide technical expertise and support for our employees, ensuring the
seamless operation of IT systems, tools, and workflows.
 
You will take on more complex troubleshooting tasks,
contribute to IT projects, and help improve processes that enhance the overall efficiency of the team.
 
This role is ideal for individuals with foundational IT skills who are ready to take on more responsibility, tackle
diverse technical challenges, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
 
Qualifications:
 
Experience and Skills:
2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role, with a track record of solving technical issues effectively.
Strong understanding of IT systems, including operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), hardware maintenance, and software support.
Familiarity with user account management, access controls, and troubleshooting tools.
Attributes:
A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to address technical challenges.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to guide employees through technical processes.
A proactive approach to learning and applying new tools, technologies, and best practices.
Good to Have Qualifications:
Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow) and remote troubleshooting tools.
Basic understanding of networking concepts, such as VPNs, firewalls, and Wi-Fi configurations.
Familiarity with security best practices, including device encryption and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
 
Deliver Technical Support:
Diagnose and resolve moderately complex IT issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems, ensuring employees can work effectively.
Assist with setting up and managing user accounts, permissions, and access to company systems and tools.
Maintain and Optimize IT Systems:
Ensure IT assets are well-maintained, including tracking inventory, conducting audits, and performing routine updates.
Collaborate with team members to ensure systems are secure, compliant, and operating efficiently.
Support Onboarding and Offboarding:
Lead onboarding efforts for new hires, including account setup, equipment configuration, and introductory IT training.
Handle offboarding processes, such as deactivating accounts, retrieving equipment, and ensuring compliance with data security protocols.
Contribute to IT Projects:
Participate in team-level projects, such as system upgrades, tool integrations, or improving IT workflows.
Provide input on IT solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Enhance Documentation and Processes:
Develop and maintain IT knowledge resources, including troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and training materials.
Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose solutions to streamline IT operations.
