DESIGN ENGINEER
 
GENERAL FUNCTION:
 
Performs and initiates in the development of the product drawings in accordance with applicable standards and specifications of the customer.
 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops drawings in accordance with applicable standards.
Coordinates with the tooling and fabrication in the construction of the develop parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports.
Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirement of the product or the application.
Responsible in the modification of the product's drawing in conformance with the customer's requirements.
Maintain liaison with individuals and units within or outside the organization, with responsibility for acting independently on technical issues of the product specification.
Evaluates progress and results obtained and recommends major changes to achieve the products requirements.
Monitors and assures that health and safety procedures, environmental policies are followed and company's guidelines are implemented by him and subordinates.
Follows special tasks as directed by superiors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Education:
A Bachelor Degree holder preferably Mechanical Engineering
course graduate.
Experience: Must have at least two (2) to three (3) years
working experience in the same field and in the manufacturing company.
 
Skills:
Knowledgeable in CATIA and AUTOCAD Planning Skills,
Strong analytical and problem solving skills,
Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
Reasoning skills for problem identification and resolution,
Leadership skills,
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office application.
Others:
Keen on details, willing to work long hours, a good team player.
