About the Role
The First Circle is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing channels with responsibility customer acquisition, retention, and Brand building.
As the team lead for Digital you will have a high degree of autonomy, responsibility, and authority. We believe in putting the smartest people in each role and have them set the agenda, and whilst you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and act consistently with the Marketing strategy, the channel is yours to own.
Digital is a significant minority of all customer acquisition at First Circle. You will own a substantial budget and be expected to scale customer acquisition with the only constraint being marginal acquisition cost. This is an important role, and a great stepping stone to accelerated career development at First Circle.
Performance Objectives Digital Marketing Management
Full responsibility and authority for customer acquisition and growth from digital marketing - strategy, production, execution, and analysis - across all digital channels - SEO, SEM, SMM, email marketing, content - and platforms - Google, FB, YouTube, IG, LinkedIn, etc.
Budget ownership for all digital spending with the objective of maximising growth for all acquisition below a predetermined marginal cost of acquisition.
Brand development through digital channels, managing the image positioning of First Circle and can adjust communications to "tweak" this to address and appeal to different market segment needs.
Manages content production internally or through a 3rd party agency, including video, audio (podcast), and written content
Lead company's day-to-day relationships with digital marketing agencies as well as relationships with vendors such (e.g. Google). Recommends on new vendors to partner with in order to further company's presence in the online space
Brand, messaging, and content partner for Public Relations (PR) campaigns.
About You
3+ years of experience in a marketing or digital marketing role, preferably from a Tech, Agency, or Financial Services background.
Track record developing ambitious marketing campaigns exhibiting creativity, imagination, and a desire to push the boundaries.
Entrepreneurial, a builder by nature. Out of the box thinker capable of problem solving and developing both "Hacky" and "System" solutions.
Excited by the prospect and challenge of having full ownership for a digital channel in a fast-growth startup.
