Reporting to the Operations Manager and Team Lead, this role is dedicated to resolving customer issues in the FoodByUs way - pleasant and efficient. As the industry we are in is extremely dynamic and fast paced, you ultimately help the business maintain an excellent image as you are the 'face' of FoodByUs customer service to our Buyers and Suppliers. If you like talking to people, resolving issues, have passion for food and would like to learn about the wholesale food industry, then we would love to talk to you.
ROLE SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The core role scope and responsibilities of the Data Management Specialist will be:
Solve our customers' problems in an efficient but pleasant manner through calls, emails or chat
Multi-channel inbound order support: Answering and resolving phone calls and emails about orders. This could be anything from a Supplier not knowing where a Buyer is, to a finding undelivered orders
Proactive Order management: Ensure a great order experience for our Buyers and Suppliers. This will include proactive monitoring of orders, phone calls and emails to make order amendments, updating delivery instructions, etc.
Coordination with HQ: Work with our HQ team based in Australia to solve urgent order issues
Requirements
You love people: you are friendly, courteous and passionate about working with others
You are a clear and open communicator: this role requires you to own up a task and we want to hear from you what works and what doesn't
2 - 5 years' experience in customer service handling phone and email enquiries
Some knowledge about e-commerce in the food industry is a plus
Strong quantitative and qualitative skills;
Strong analytical skills in appraising opportunities;
Ability to work hard in a fast paced environment, and get the job done no matter what;
Experience working independently
Strong attention to detail
Experience in using various CRMs
Knowledge in Zendesk is preferred
