Job Purpose:
 
We are recruiting members for a customer support business in Cebu, scheduled to launch in October, where they will be responsible for chat-based interactions.
 
The main tasks involve handling customer inquiries, such as reservation reception including, but not limited to beauty clinics operating within Japan. We welcome individuals with experience in call centers or customer support, as they will be dealing directly with customers. Please note that there may be instances where photos of medical cases are shared, so having a resilient disposition is preferred.
 
This role is suitable for individuals who can provide prompt and courteous responses, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience. As this is a new setup, there will be a need to improve operations as the work progresses. Those with problem-solving skills will be able to demonstrate their abilities.
 
Job Duties:
Engage in real-time chat interactions with customers
Gather necessary information from customers following the provided manual
Respond to customer inquiries (for questions requiring further judgment, coordinate with the Japan headquarters to prepare appropriate responses)
Provide high-quality customer service through chat to prevent customer churn (e.g., promptness and politeness in communication)
Support new hires through training and assistance to facilitate their independence
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills for chat-based communication
Proficient typing skills
Minimum 2 years experience in customer service
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with team members
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Adaptability and flexibility
Ability to stay calm, seek advice from colleagues, and handle irregular situations
Troubleshooting skills, either basic or advanced, depending on the role and industry
Ability to follow manuals and provide accurate responses
Proficiency in English
High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated
