WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
Work with markets, customers and related JTI SA and other JTI functions to ensure proper support to the markets with forecasting, planning, production and selling of finished goods (FG) and semi-finished goods (SFG). Fulfill customers' / markets' requirements through assisting in enquiries, co-ordination of shipments, maintenance of good working relationships, monitoring of new product developments, minimization of write-offs etc.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a bridge between factory, markets and related internal and external departments for all issues, open points, not clear situations etc. to ensure that all parties involved are aware of priorities and do all possible to meet market demands. Ensure no Out of Stock situations and meeting targeted Days of Inventory Oustanding (DIO) for each market. Analyse forecast information provided by markets to better understand and address market situation, like tax increases, stock build-ups, promotion activities, etc., obtain market's confirmation before finalising replenishment plans, taking into consideration production capacity.
Work with respective functions on export processes and freight planning optimization.
Coordinate new products intoduction btw the factory and respective markets / customers to ensure timely production as per market requirements. Coordinate with the customers and other MS functions (Planning, PPO) to ensure timely deliveries of new materials, smooth change over to new products with minimum write-offs.
Ensure timely SAP / APO maintenance for respective materials, FG and SFG (including Planning SKU's). Support PLM maintenance as required.
Coordinate with markets / customers / JTI SA and other related JTI functions all FG, SFG and material outbound shipments. Participate in related transport-related processes.
Ensure that all contract and shipping documents requirements are clear for all customers, coordinate documents preparation for each shipment with respective functions.
Ensure with markets that tax stamps are available for production, ensure with the factory departments that all tax stamps related processes are followed in line with markets' legislation requirements (stamps reports, returns, damaged stamps handling etc.)
Provide reports to markets / customers / JTI SA on FG & SFG inventories, excise stamps, production materials, production due dates and export shipment dates to clients .
Work cohesively with various functions, internally and externally of JTI, to ensure proper planning of export orders, purchasing of related materials, advise respective customers/markets on the final confirmed shipment plans.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
University degree, preferably in economics, logistics
Minimum 1- 2 years working experience in dealing with clients in export oriented environment: international trade or planning, experience in supply chain mangement would be an added advantage.
Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
Application, comprehension and usage of ERP system, SAP - PRD & APO and all it's mega processess (O2C/P2P/R2R/F2S) for every functional activities related to meeting/fulfilling customers'/markets' requirements/orders are added advantage.
Flexbile and can work with cross functional team and Coordination skills
