Job Description:
 
Provide customers with accurate information relating to the merchandise and actively seek out customers to assist them with their needs and concerns
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Cooperative Supervisor and get instructions and approvals from the Cooperative Supervisor
Courteously greet the customer as soon as they approach the selling area
Assist customers with their inquiries such as location of the merchandiser, information on and qualities of the merchandise, promotional campaigns and freebies.
Offer suggestions or recommendations to the customer in relation to the products
Display and maintain, in an attractive manner, the merchandise in the selling rack
Assist and support the client in the inventory of the merchandise to ensure accountability and security of the merchandise within the assigned area
Develop strong product knowledge
Keep the area of responsibility clean and tidy
Contribute to team effort and target by accomplishing related results as needed
Perform other related duties as required.
