Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a Connected Service Associate to join our New Mobility Business team based in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
The Connected Service Associate is a member of the Fleet Mobility Solution team who owns future mobility solutions projects and end-to-end operations designing the hardware, so telematics business. A Connected Service Associate works closely with the Conversion and Accessories Team as well as cross-functional teams in the regional offices in responding to market needs on connectivity. You will collaborate with different affiliates and internal teams on a regular basis designing and planning for new telematics products and new platform business. You will also develop different initiatives and operations for potential applications in the field of mobility and telematics.
In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in engineering design, project management and a Toyota product champion.
Your role and responsibilities:
Design a unique and cohesive in-vehicle experience through tech and connectivity.
Design and develop systems for incoming models and expand business plans for the telematics business.
Understand consumer needs and develop compelling value proposition for vehicle connectivity.
Conceptualization, management and monitoring of connected service projects.
Gather and organize information for research studies, surveys, feasibility and other analyses for connected service planning and design.
Champion new ideas and make smart risks.
Generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities.
Utilize data analytics, real-time information, online tools, etc., in the development of projects and policies.
Build productive and strategic collaborative and customer relationships with affiliates and suppliers.
Develop guidelines and standards for projects.
Coordinate with government units (DOTr, NTC).
Our perfect match:
You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronics and communication engineering interested in automotive technology and vehicle systems, or;
You have a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship, marketing, business development, operations management interested in building the customer experience through tech.
You are intuitive and have a deep understanding of what it takes to create smooth mobile connectivity and cohesive in-vehicle experience.
You are creative and have a clear grasp on how to realize the ideal scenarios
You work in an organized manner and have good project management skills
You are a vehicle enthusiast familiar with and up to date on public policy, vehicle telematics tech, emerging transportation, and mobility trends.
You have an eye and mind for product and business development.
You have the ability to take the right call, both for the company and the customer.
You have the ability to say "No" to stakeholders without compromising the relationship.
You have a good understanding of the people; you can pick up product and process knowledge quickly.
You have the ability to take projects from concept to implementation.
You can deal with ambiguity; objection handling.
Skills required:
Expertise in Computer Aided Design.
Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
General knowledge of Toyota Vehicles with working knowledge of vehicle electronic and electrical systems
Problem identification, analysis and solving - should be able to think out of the box.
Proven research, writing, oral, and graphic presentation skills.
High analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of public agencies, private consultants and community groups.
Preferred but not mandatory - Prior experience with User Interface Consultancy.
Project management experience - should include contracting; managing scope, schedule, budget; and managing risks and changes.
Great at documentation.
Fast learner and can easily pick up new technologies.
Tenacious team player with Sales & Marketing mindset.
Experience with government policy, coordination is an advantage.
