Job Description:
The Senior Team Member is expected to learn and be immersed with all the production sub-processes within Commercial Letter of Credit Bookings. These productions sub-processes include but are not limited to Exports and Imports Issuance in accordance with Anti Money Laundering Policy
The Senior Team Member's core responsibility regardless of the sub-processes are the following
Perform validation and releasing of Billing Transactions within authorizer limits based on role.
Perform reconciliation of accounts.
Perform research of transactions that are not processed via "Straight Through Processing" (STP)
Address and close out queries received from Market and Customers correctly and on a timely manner
Qualifications:
2-3 years of working experience. Background in BPO and/or Banking Industry is an advantage preferably with Accounting & Finance background.
Works collaboratively, shares information and effectively communicates with team members, departmental management and partners in Sales, Service and Product.
Able to prioritize work and multi-task without making errors.
Demonstrates analytical and problem solving abilities while possessing a mindset of accuracy and attention to detail.
Process orientation with ability to understand upstream and downstream implications.
Ability to understand billing processes and associated details.
Ability to review individual's own work and the work of others to prevent errors from Billing Transactions.
Ability to understand how own work and the work of others impacts Billing Transactions.
Ability to perform detailed research, resolve issues, close them out and follow up with the impacted partner about how matter was resolved or outcome of research.
Ability to understand the nature of work and ask logical questions about whether or not what is being requested is what is intended.
Requires strong computer skills, including ability to use mainframe and common PC based software packages including MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred. Bachelor's degree is required.
Must be fluent in English language: Verbal, written, and conversational.
