Job Description:
The job comes with a lot of responsibilities: setting targets and working a number of Store Managers across the allocated area, with the aim to improve sales and profitability. The person will be accountable for the stores he/she is Area Managing. This can be a stressful job role at times, and the person really needs to work hard but it is also rewarding.
The primary job function of an Area Manager is to manage and assume overall responsibility for the success of the stores by directing all operational aspects of each store deriving sales while minimizing cost. It is an integral part of an Area Manager's main responsibility as well to consolidate all sales reports on all branches and ensure all data are accurate before reporting it to the Board of Directors on the monthly scheduled meeting. The person will solely accountable on any inaccuracy or errors that may arise during the monthly reporting.
