Job Summary:
 
The Compensation and Benefits Staff helps in the preparation and computation of payroll . She will handle statutory remittances and address employee concerns regarding SSS, PAG-IBIG and PhilHealth. This function buys products that are essential for the Company's daily operations and ensures optimum level of the best quality stocks. She will also handle Inventory Management. Responsibilities include assessing vendors and suppliers and negotiating best terms and conditions. The role includes computation of employees' final pay and updating working guide and process flows for the Accounting Department.
 
Job Description: 
 
General Responsibilities
Supports payroll preparation and other payroll reports.
Employees final pay computation and releasing.
Employees Maternity computation and processing to the payroll system.
SSS sickness reimbursement computation.
Handles Inventory Management.
Negotiate best prices and terms to Suppliers.
Accurate and timely creation of Purchase Orders.
Receiving of deliveries and updating the Inventory system.
Accurate and on time statutory contribution and loan remittances.
Accurate and timely preparation of reports and filing of documents.
Essential Functions
Assists company payroll calculations, effects adjustments and withholding taxes.
Address payroll inquiries, issues from employees in a timely manner.
Collates and checks Purchase Requests.
Canvass items from various suppliers and prepare supplier comparison.
Negotiates prices and terms to suppliers/vendors.
Creates Purchase Orders based on approved purchases.
Send Purchase Orders to Suppliers and ensure delivery of stocks on time and give updates to the requestor about the status of their order.
Monitors stale and cancelled checks and endorses for Journal Entry, as needed.
Checks and monitors Official Receipts issued by Supplier like (validity, amounts, etc.)
Files Check Vouchers and ensure its completeness with proper supporting documents with valid ORs attached.
Monitors insurance additions, deletions, payment, and refunds.
Monitor and summarize liquidation of cash advances, including timely deposit of excess cash.
Process remittances for statutory contributions and loans.
Address statutory inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
Process maternity benefit and sickness benefit.
Prepare final pay computation.
Maintains suppliers contracts/agreements (Lease contracts, service contracts, etc.)
Monitors security/refundable deposits, prepayments and cash funds accountability forms.
Prepares accountability report and monitor sim cards, cellphones, and prepaid Wi-Fi issued to employees/agents.
Other tasks and reports that may be assigned from time to time as business needs arise.
 Performance Expectation
On time tax and statutory benefit and loan remittances
Purchases based on approved purchase orders and complete delivery
Adaptation of latest relevant regulations
Being proactive in pre-empting or resolving work-related issues. 
Qualifications
1 year experience in compensation and benefits processing and accounting in a Philippine setting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Experience in BPO industry is an advantage
Experience in Accounting systems
