About the opportunity
The Dayforce Product Development team is looking for a Software Developer to be part of a team who will create the industry's next generation Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
As System Administrator who will provide configuration and support of AscenderPay functionality as directed by the Operation Manager, System Administration Team Lead, Payroll Team Lead and clients as applicable. The System Administrator will utilize knowledge and conduct necessary analysis, problem solving and testing of all areas of Ascender Pay system and Payroll knowledge to resolve client's issues.
The candidate will work closely and collaborate with payroll operations in terms of implementing process improvement, in technical and payroll function.
What you'll get to do
Analyses and resolves complex payroll processing issues to ensure smooth, accurate and timely payroll cycles
Prepares correspondence of a technical nature pertaining to payroll issues
Work closely with different teams to increase performance and drive process improvements
Address issues and questions regarding payroll to ensure payroll deliverables are not impacted
Recommends or participates in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operations
Conducts training sessions for payroll representatives to explain payroll policies and procedures, state and federal regulations and laws when required

Skills and experience we value
Knowledge of Human Resources and Payroll
Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
Skill in evaluating and analyzing technical payroll activities.
Experience in Systems Administration of a HRIS application

Experience using Payroll System is an advantage Advanced Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Timely delivery of new setup and configurations #LI-Remote
