Job Summary:
The Level 1 Service Technician performs basic vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs under the supervision of more experienced technicians. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with foundational automotive knowledge who are eager to grow their skills in a professional service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid top-offs.
Assist in diagnosing vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Replace basic parts like filters, spark plugs, belts, and hoses.
Follow safety procedures and company policies while working on vehicles.
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Participate in ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Vocational course or Technical school graduate.
Completion of automotive service training or relevant certification preferred.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Working Conditions:
