SERVICE DRIVER
Duties & Responsibilities:
Check and return vehicles for body damages, inoperative equipment, safety hazards, fuel level, etc. Remove damage or problem vehicles from fleet to designated ou-of-service area and document problems for maintenance. May notify dispatchers or rental counter of vehicle taken out of service
Check operations of vehicle accessories, brakes, seat belts, steering, tire wear, air pressure, fluid levels, batteries, belts and general performance of vehicles.
Clean interior and exterior of vehicle according to prescribed quality standards. This includes windows, floor, floor mats, seats, dashboards, armrest, doors. ashtray, trunk, etc. Dispose garbage. Turn in any articles left by customers to designated lost and found area. Vacuum interior either manually clean exterior or use automatic car wash.
Conduct inventory and log vehicles in and out service area according to established procedures. Complete necessary paperwork once vehicles are ready for trip and submit to rental counter.
Assist in locating, removing and marking designated vehicles from fleet. Follow speed limits and traffic guidelines when moving vehicles.
Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to company guidelines regarding uniforms and/or dress code.
Secure company assets in assigned area following established procedures. Maintain adequate supplies at work area.
Complete assigned reports, logs, and lists of daily or as instructed.
Consider different routes, check climate and traffic reports to decide the best time to travel and the best route to take.
Safely keep receipts for vehicle repairs and maintenance and other records and reports concerning the employers car(s)
Keep travel log to record locations travelled to, travel time and work hours
Keep Fuel Card for fuel consumption monitoring
Does bank transactions like deposits, withdrawal among others including payment of office utilities
Goes to notarial office for notarization of company legal documents
Carry out other assignments that may be given by the assigned supervisor
Minimum Educational Requirements:
High School graduate or College Level
Skills / Training needed:
Responsible and defensive driver
Preferably with experience with bank transactions and operating high end VIP vehicles
