Job Description
The Service Desk Team is a 24/7 single point of contact for all Incidents and Service Requests, through tickets, phone, or onsite support, in a follow-the-sun setup. As a member of the Service Desk team, you will participate in both user Service and Support, but also local project work across infrastructure and business applications.
You will be someone who thrives on delivering excellent service and support to end-users. While at the same time being able to keep an overview of the office technology and participate as a coordinator for projects across offices and departments.
You will be part of a truly global team. This role will suit a complex problem solver and you will enjoy taking accountability and being responsible for efficiently closing off IT issues for users.
In this role you will be responsible for: * The Onsite IT service and support in the Makati office.
Participating in dispatch, phone, and incident support for global users.
Solving tickets (incidents and service requests) on a global scale.
Keeping an overview of local issues and reoccurring issues in cooperation with your Manager and Incident Manager.
User administration and IT Hardware asset management.
Setting up and preparing workplaces and work devices.
Maintenance of printers, training course and video conference rooms.
Purchase of IT equipment for the local office - primary contact for local IT equipment suppliers in cooperation with manager and Group Procurement, including local vendor management.
IT training of new employees.
Communicating new services and features to users in their own office.
Yearly budget input.
Perform other tasks assigned by Management.
Weekend Support and On-call support when needed.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience from a similar IT Services Desk position
Broad knowledge of Microsoft Platforms and Applications, Adobe, Azure, Active Directory
Experience with 1st and 2nd line support on infrastructure/Cloud/business applications and internal users' hardware
Experience with IT support across cultures and time zones
A service-minded and positive mindset
A high 'Sense of Urgency' and focus in prioritizing tasks
Ability to initiate, adapt to and embrace change, in a fast-paced environment
Organised and data driven
A hard worker with a "no task is too small" attitude
Additional Information
WORKING LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Our teams are currently working from home however, this role will be based in our Makati head offices once circumstances allow. In order to be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate your home working environment is as follows:
conducive home office (free from noise and distraction)
main internet: wired internet of at least 5mbps
reliable back up internet: at least 3mbps speed
