The role will be responsible for the creation of the service design, ensuring that it aligns with the architecture, and wider Enterprise governance/initiatives. The role involves providing SME insight on ITSM best practice, to inform the development of the requirement and service design, where DI Solutions is acting as a 'customer friend' to a MoD delivery team. The role is within a wider team, working alongside resources from Odyssey consortium partners (client-side) and the delivery vendor (supply-side), as well as the MoD. The individual will work with the CGI lead team, but also client side posts to ensure the output is agreed and implemented. Your future duties and responsibilities: The ITSM SME will be expected to have experience of the ITIL Service Management lifecycle, and have had consultancy experience providing advice and support to client teams, along with an understanding of the Defence Digital environment. An understanding of relevant MoD policy and practice is important. Outputs from this task will also be fed in to the clients project approvals. Key Responsibilities: . Providing SME insight to the MoD delivery team, based on ITIL best practice. . Working within a wider team to support the development of the requirement and service design. . Ensure Alignment of IT strategy. . Prior knowledge of ITSM delivery in Defence is essential for this role. . Experience of working in the Defence Digital environment is strongly preferred, ideally having also spent time in roles providing advice and support to client teams. Stakeholder Management . Ability to set clear direction . Knowledge of relevant MOD enterprise initiatives Must be Solely UK National and must hold MOD SC clearance.
