JOB DESCRIPTION
• Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base, covers sales revenue and expense controls
• Sell to existing and potential accounts and meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
• Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners and clients to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets
• Set individual sales targets within the sales team
• Resolve customer complaints, staffing problems, and other concerns regarding sales operations
• Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies and other departments for sales and marketing initiatives
• Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expense
• Recruit salespeople, set objectives, train and coach, and monitor performance to ensure that assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fill them
• Ensure that company quotas and standards are met by holding check-ins with sales team through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional communities
JOB QUALIFICATION
• At least three or more years of managing sales within a corporate setting
• Proven record of success with the entire sales cycle, from planning to closing
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills
• Superb people development and leadership ability
• Dedication to providing great customer service
• Ability to travel at least 40% of the time
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
