The Sales Development Representative is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through outbound calling activities. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company's needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for educating, developing & nurturing prospects
Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts
Cold call into prospects generated by a variety of outside sources
Identify key players, research, and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle
Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching, and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
Qualify, set appointments & for management to connect with potential clients
Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other social media mediums
Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with the management
Collaborate with team members on strategic sales approach
Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application
Requirements
To be successful at this role you will need to be:
A self-starter with at least 2 years background in US-based Business-to-business sales (preferably in the recruitment space)
Not afraid to pick up the phone, this is an outbound calling position.
Able to build rapport quickly with a diverse range of clients from several different backgrounds.
Bachelor's degree - preferred but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Time Management Skill
Highly Organized and Strategic thinker
Effective in-person and electronic\communication ability
High energy & ability to work on several\projects simultaneously and methodically
Willing to observe US Eastern Time working hours
