QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) MANAGER
 
The QA Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to ensure products and processes meet the highest quality standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the QA team, ensuring effective planning, testing, inspection, and documentation.
Monitor compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Lead internal and external audits, prepare reports, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, R&D, supply chain, operations) to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality metrics.
Train and mentor staff, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Manage root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) programs.
Evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Report on overall quality performance and recommend improvement strategies to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (Master's degree or certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ CQE, ISO Lead Auditor are a plus).
5-8+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, FDA, or industry-specific equivalents).
Proven experience leading audits, inspections, and compliance programs.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in QA tools, methodologies, and reporting systems.
