QA / T&C ASSISTANT MANAGER (1)
(Cebu based)
 
Responsibilities:
Strategically plans and organizes the overall activities of the Quality Assurance/Testing & Commissioning Section in line with its objectives of keeping the company's set quality and standard for installation, testing, adjustment, maintenance and overall operation of elevators and escalators.
Monitors, controls and supervises the day-to-day activities of Quality Assurance and Testing & Commissioning personnel in coordination with the schedule of the Installation Department for installation check points, quality inspections and testing of installed elevators and escalators equipment.
Conducts regular research, evaluation and studies in improving installation procedures, tests and adjustments and advises the Installation Department of necessary improvement measures.
Monitors regularly receive various quality assurance inspection reports prepared by QA personnel and give immediate and prompt feedback of information.
Conduct technical training and seminars for QA and Testing & Commissioning personnel and installation personnel to improve the technical know-how, capabilities and effective performance of their jobs and for personal growth in the company.
Oversees all aspects of QA/Testing & Commissioning works to ensure quality product performance.
Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement.
Act as a key point of contract for all QA aspects, providing resources internally and externally.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot technical issues, seeking clarification and devising solutions to resolve them effectively.
Formulate and establish work protocols and guidelines for employees.
Address of employees' and customer concerns.
Fill in for the Manager in times of absence, to make decisions and provide accountability.
Conduct employees' performance review.
Submits reports as required by Superior.
Performs other QA/Testing & Commissioning related tasks that may require carrying out function properly.
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Mechanical or Electrical, preferably with PRC license.
Proven experience as Manager or relevant role.
Must have experience in elevator/escalator quality assurance and adjustment works.
Familiarity with company policies and guidelines of the field.
Knowledgeable with elevator and escalator installation, testing, and inspection.
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must possess good technical and communication skills and good moral character.
