PRODUCTION MANAGER (FURNITURE MANUFACTURING)
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
We are looking for a hands-on Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing activities in our furniture business. You will be in charge of production planning, managing teams on the floor, ensuring quality standards, controlling expenses, and keeping timetables on track-from raw materials to finished parts. The ideal applicant possesses excellent leadership abilities, prior expertise in furniture or wood manufacturing, and a keen eye for efficiency, safety, and craftsmanship.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, organize, and oversee daily furniture production to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
Lead, train, and supervise production staff to ensure efficient and safe operations
Monitor production schedules, workflow, and material usage to minimize waste and downtime
Ensure all products meet company quality standards and customer specifications
Coordinate with purchasing, design, and logistics teams to ensure smooth end-to-end operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years of experience in production or operations management, preferably in furniture or wood manufacturing
Strong knowledge of production planning, workflow optimization, and quality control
Proven leadership and people-management skills in a factory or shop-floor setting
Ability to read and interpret production plans, technical drawings, and specifications
Familiarity with safety standards, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices
Good problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
