Frequently analyze how effectively and efficiently the HLNG's Fleet IT solutions supports the business processes and users
Maintain an overview of the general trends in digitalization and IT solutions for vessels/LNG carrier operation and suggest how this should influence the roadmap of HLNG's Fleet IT solutions
Identify opportunities and advise the business on how to improve the business processes and the business' use of Fleet IT solutions by
Providing the work methods, templates and tools for how to assess processes, and develop and implement improvements
Developing user stories, workflow design and configurations
Implementing new solutions or upgrading the existing solutions to the latest/new version
Integration with other IT solutions
Ensure that Fleet IT Master Data is established in all respective functional and process areas for maintaining the needed quality (accuracy, accessibility, comprehensiveness, consistency, currency, definition, granularity, relevancy and timeliness) of data
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that everyone is using the solutions in the intended way
Develop and maintain the HLNG Fleet IT solution roadmap
Drive upgrades and changes of the Fleet IT solutions in line with the roadmap through active participation in the IT initiative evaluation and IT change process. E.g.
Support Business initiative owner with developing project suggestions and business cases
Support the Super Users with the development of solution proposals (change requests) and planning of test and deployment (implementation, integration and data migration)
Review and recommend change request
Coordinate the suppliers delivering and hosting the Fleet IT solutions to ensure delivery on time, quality and budget in accordance with agreements
Participate in the Change Advisory Board
Support the Super Users in training activities for business/end users
Facilitate tender development, vendor evaluation and implementation of major new IT Fleet solutions and vessel new building projects.
Take an active role in increasing the internal HLNG IT support for Vessels; - eg:
Contribute developing the IT support team's Fleet IT capabilities
Develop and enhance internal processes to ensure work orders, incidents and problems will be managed efficiently by and between the IT support team and the (Vessel) Hosting Partner
Work closely with vendors and IT support team on suggestions and proposal for "Improvements" on recurring incidents and problems.
Support activities to ensure compliance with cyber security, internal controls, regulations and/or standard operating procedures
Support VPIT with developing the budget and follow up actuals towards budget for Fleet IT.
Graduate of any 4 year college course; preferably experience in maritime or vessel on board.
Able to assess, identify and suggest potential improvement of how Fleet IT solutions can increase the efficiency of HLNG's business processes.
Experienced in strategic roadmap and architecture for the Fleet IT solution portfolio
Able to plan and drive the implementation of the roadmap through decision processes .
Responsible for planning, coordination the implementations of new Fleet IT solutions and changes to the existing solutions including coordination of 3rd party suppliers.
Ensures a reliable, scalable and efficient IT operation for the Fleet IT solutions through cooperation with the HLNG Operation Manager, Super Users, Solution vendors and Hosting Partner.
