Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other related courses
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
With experience in Performance Tuning of Databases (MS SQL Server)
Must have a background in Migration of Database, Back-Up, Database Patching, Replication, Mirroring, Log Shipping, Failover CLustering, Restore and Recovery
With experience in MS SQL Server 2005,2008,2012,2014
Must have a background in SQL Server Reporting Services, Stored Procedures and TSQL
Responsibilities:
Responsible for attending incident requests, change order and problem tickets.
Responsible for creating Linked Servers to SQL Servers and other databases such as Oracle etc.
Create a design database Backup and Restoration Strategy
Maintain to monitor database backups once created and ensure that backups are being performed regularly.
Responsible for performing escalated tasks and managing your team in terms of mitigation.
Responsible for documenting major changes to the SQL Serves.
Monitoring and Performance Tuning database level
Monitor troubleshooting and various problems in a timely manner.
