Introduction
The HR Service Administrator is an integral part of IBM and HR. Your Role and Responsibilities
Compilation and processing of transactional Payroll and/or Time Data. This requires teaming/collaboration with other teams that deliver payments/deductions via payroll.
Processing of Garnishment cases (answering interrogatories, updating information in the system, validation, and issue resolution).
Handling of orders for terminated/LOA employees
Ensure accuracy of employee and employer contributions for statutory requirements. This requires knowledge of tax and labor laws.
Ensure accuracy of other payments & deductions calculated by the system. This requires in-depth knowledge of company policies (eg. Overtime, allowances).
Generation of Pay Statements and other Business reports.
Generation of statutory reports. This requires knowledge/understanding of the country forms and government guidelines to complete these. The process owner should also have the capacity to verify that all information reported is accurate and legally-compliant.
Timely remittance of payments and/or report for employees, government offices, and 3rd parties.
Interface with external customers for requests &/or issue resolution (eg. Banks, Government officers, client, vendor).

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Possess a bachelor's degree in any Business, Human Resource, and/or Accounting Courses
1-2 years of work experience in relevant field
Has background on payroll, preferably with US Payroll background.
Experience of working in a business process operations environment (desirable)
Experience of working in a shared services organization (desirable)
Understanding of HR systems is desirable (experience working on SAP payroll is an advantage)

Skills/Abilities Required:
Technical capability to operate payroll and/or time management systems is an advantage.
Must have a general understanding of payroll work processes and basic income taxation principles
Must have proven efficiency in basic systems problem resolution through effective interface and communication
Must have proven efficiency in utilizing general office applications (MS office applications) and communication tools (Lotus Notes)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
'- In depth knowledge of Payroll requirements, preferably more the 2 years of Professional Payroll experience; US Payroll is an advantage
- Experience in working in a business process operations environment; Experience in working in a shared services organization
- Skill/ experience in using collaborative tools (including, but not limited to, Slack, Webex, Trello, Mural)
- Skill/ experience on Agile methodologies, basic Project Management, being an Automation Process Consultant, Robotics Process Automation
- Technical capability to operate payroll and/ or time management systems (i.e. Workday HCM and Workday Payroll)
