Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for overseeing administration of hiring, retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, and long-term staffing strategies.
Responsibilities will also include development and administration of personnel rules and regulations, pay and job classification structure, and programs for employee training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources administration, knowledge of sound techniques in all aspects of human resources management.
Responsible for maintaining the business relationship with management and leadership including relationship management, communication, staff direction and motivation.
Ability to create and maintain a collaborative team environment; to build relationships and effectively work with all levels of employees.
Demonstrates the capacity to manage changing priorities while remaining calm and controlled.
Supporting in interviewing and recruiting new staff members.
Ensuring data quality regarding our HR master data strategy.
Analyzing existing HR processes, optimizing them if necessary and helping to drive the HR digitalization strategy.
Serving as the regional/local contact person for our employees on all HR-relevant topics, such as employee interviews of any kind, recruiting topics, or onboarding and offboarding of employees.
Supporting our local/regional locations on labor law issues and, if required, on the topic of global mobility.
Contributing to global HR projects as well as maintaining close cooperation with other areas of the company, such as the Legal and Compliance, Data Protection, and IT departments.
Requirements
Must-have Skills / Qualification:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in human resources with increasing supervisory responsibilities.
Professional / functional experience:
Be the point of contact for all local payroll issues.
Detailed understanding of HR operations processes and record of implementation of process improvement.
Demonstrated knowledge in recruiting related topics, like HR marketing, research on social media, interview methods, candidate management etc.
Experience within employee development.
Broad knowledge of federal, state, local employment laws and regulations.
Demonstrated experience working in an international setting and with different cultures.
Functional competencies:
Experience in the daily work with a global HRIS Cornerstone - advantageous. (Open to any other HR software)
Experience in using Applicant Tracking System.

Strong People Management and communication/interpersonal skills.
Mature judgement - Presentation skills.
Ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Power Point and Excel).
Proficient in reading, understanding, and analyzing of contract requirements.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
