Job description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Strategic Partnership
• Develop, review, and implement employment practices compensation and benefits, human resource programs and methods on a regular basis.
• Manage department processes and procedures.
• Develop communicate and implement performance evaluation tools, methods and formats.
• Ensure that the Performance Management System is well cascaded and understood by all employees.
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures and employee handbook.
• update company Salary Structure annually.
• Manage employee relations and labour issues and concerns.
• Review and recommend salary adjustments to new hires and other employment based on performance.
• Regularly review Job Descriptions and ensure updates on the Job Analysis process.
B. Recruitment
• Ensure that Company is hiring and targeting right candidates for identifies positions.
• Assist in the development of staffing plan with key staff.
• Interview and assist in selection of candidates for key positions.
• Manage and provide direction to staff recruitment efforts.
• Constantly review manpower requirements.
• Identify other alternative solutions to manpower sourcing.
C. Organizational and Human resource Development
• Run annual organizational survey to determined if employee and management expectations are in place.
• Regularly run summary report on exit interviews to identify reasons for employees resignations.
• Ensure that targeted employee activities are implemented in a timely manner.
• Ensure that Managers and Supervisors follow through on their developmental plans for their subordinates by providing training on correct processes for coaching and counseling.
• Ensure that Performance Management System is correctly implemented by reviewing rating of employees given by managers and supervisors.
• Coordinate with Training Department on the developmental programs for employees and organization.
• Cascade organization development strategies with key staff.
• Maintain open communication with employees by implementing HR Forums or on-on-one session with employees on a regular basis.
• Oversee performance appraisals.
• Conduct training on HR policies and procedures Code of Conduct as needed.
• Ensure that disciplinary actions are implemented in a timely manner.
D. Employee Development
• Coordinate with department heads on the developmental needs/updates of their staff.
• Closely monitor staff performance on a regular basis and provide developmental plans to a address performance gaps, if any.
• Ensure that training identifies by employees are communicated to the training department and management for implementation.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
EDUCATIONAL AND TRANING
• College graduate in Psychology, Management, or any allied course Units in MBA or graduate program in any of the undergraduate courses cited above will prove to be an advantage.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS
• Preferably five (5) to ten (10) working experience in the same capacity Adept in Labor Code and in Employee Handbook and/or Code of Conduct.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
• Knowledgeable in Compensation and Benefits Recruitment Organizational Development, Employee Relations and Employee Development.
