You'll lead a broad portfolio of operational teams including Community Operations, Driver Operations, Partner Operations, Support, Marketplace Operations, Central Operations, Quality, and Training, ensuring every department operates efficiently, consistently, and in full alignment with company goals as we scale nationwide.As the operational right hand to the CEO, your mission is to build structure, accountability, and performance discipline across the organization - driving profitability, operational excellence, and overall marketplace health.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
Oversee and coordinate all marketplace functions including Community Ops, DriverOps, PartnerOps, Support, MarketplaceOps, CentralOps, Training, and Quality.
Ensure seamless, reliable, and compliant daily operations across all departments.
Implement and enforce operational policies, compliance standards, and process discipline.
Build scalable systems, SOPs, and workflows in partnership with CentralOps and Product.
Lead market expansion readiness, capacity planning, supply-demand balance, and regional strategy.
Financial Oversight
Develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets and departmental cost structures.
Track and report on key financial and operational performance metrics.
Identify and execute cost-optimization opportunities without compromising service quality.
Drive margin improvement through operational efficiency and marketplace performance.
Support revenue growth by aligning operational strategy with business development objectives.
Strategic Planning & Business Performance
Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to define and execute company-wide operational strategies.
Translate strategic goals into measurable operational plans and milestones.
Analyze performance KPIs across departments to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and profitability.
Provide weekly operational health summaries and quarterly leadership performance reviews.
Staff Leadership & Management
Lead, develop, and mentor department heads, managers, and operational staff.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development across all operational teams.
Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and drive accountability.
Foster a culture of excellence, transparency, and ownership.
Coach underperforming teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain high morale in a fast-paced environment.
Stakeholder & Vendor Relations
Manage relationships with key partners, vendors, and third-party service providers.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Finance to ensure operational alignment.
Represent Muvr with professionalism and operational authority in external meetings and partnerships.
Support operational enablement and integration with new and existing strategic partners.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Track and optimize key marketplace KPIs: fulfillment rate, support quality, driver performance, partner satisfaction, on-time delivery, cancellations, and supply health.
Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements across workflows and systems.
Use data and analytics to guide decisions, improve capacity management, and enhance service consistency.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, labor regulations, and operational safety standards.
QualificationsRequired
7+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or marketplace management.
Proven success leading teams and managing P&L for a high-growth business.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration across departments.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
Preferred
Experience in logistics, gig economy, or tech marketplaces (e.g., Uber, DoorDash, TaskRabbit, Amazon Logistics).
Experience scaling teams in early- or growth-stage startups.
Familiarity with automation, AI, or marketplace optimization tools.
MBA or equivalent leadership education is a plus.
