The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's restaurants and banquets. This role ensures that all guests receive excellent service, food and beverage quality is maintained, and all team members perform their duties efficiently and in line with company standards. The F&B Supervisor works closely with the hotel manager to drive customer satisfaction, staff performance, and revenue goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and ensure daily operations in the kitchen and restaurant of the hotel.
Oversee and ensure standards are followed in setting up of banquet and event spaces.
Oversee and ensure cleanliness of different dining and service areas.
Plot and arrange the schedules of the different F&B attendants to ensure proper staffing in the hotel at all times.
Upselling menu items to guests and customers.
Ensure that standards of food and drinks served are up to par with hotel standards.
Cater to customer needs and preferences when coming up with banquet menus.
Coordinate with sales in coming up with promotional materials for guests.
Coordinate with the purchasing officer and cost accountant to ensure the kitchen is well stacked at all times.
Ensure that all F&B attendants are presentable and knowledgeable on their tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in an F&B service role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
Experience in hotels, resorts, or upscale restaurants is an advantage.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Guest-focused with a professional and positive demeanor.
Solid understanding of food and beverage service standards.
Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
