Your background
Business degree in Accounting or Business related course (preferably a Certified Public Accountant but not mandatory)
Preferably 1-2 year/s experience in financial accounting and regulatory reporting.
Above-average or advanced skills in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
Has background or understanding of banking regulations, accounting policies, internal controls and practices, and general policies, procedures, guidelines and reporting requirements prevalent in the banking industry
Analytical and systematic with strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Solid understanding of local financial reporting standards.
Ability to manage and coordinate tasks and liaise with concerned groups
Ability to plan and coordinate schedules in order to meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to conduct research and analysis to determine appropriate methods for addressing the causes of issues / errors
Self-monitors achievement of results according to work plans
Independently solves problems and makes recommendations
Well organized and has the ability to prioritize tasks
Self-motivated, flexible and a team player
Works effectively and maintains collaborative relationships with both internal and external customers
Follows through on team priorities in the absence of the CFO

What you will do
Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports such as but not limited to:
- BSP, PDIC and SEC reports
- Internal and head office reporting
- Regional and local initiatives and projects
Assists in reviewing reasonableness of daily financial data, i.e. incorrect capture of information.
Works together with Financial Analyst in ensuring reports are in compliance with regulations.
Supports Financial Analyst in ensuring accuracy of submitted reports and timeliness of submission.
Assist Country Finance Officer (CFO) in monitoring and updating documentation procedures, assessing risk, and other review and monitoring functions.
Support in internal and external audit oversight such as but not limited to BSP, BIR, PDIC, PwC and other regulatory bodies.
Assist in preparing Audited Financial Statements. Review and ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory and reporting standards.
Assist CFO in handling ad hoc projects as required.
