CEBU COMMON TREATMENT FACILITY, INC. is a treatment facility for hazardous wastes generated by the electroplating industry, and other industries producing the same kind of waste. Its establishment in 1999 was an outcome of the former Industrial Pollution Control Project in Cebu of the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources (DENR) and the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ). CCTFI is a private company jointly owned by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and the Cebu Electroplaters Association (CEA).
CCTFI is an accredited treatment, transporter, storage and disposal facility of hazardous wastes by the DENR.
Is currently looking for:
EMR (ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE)
SALARY: Php 15,000.00
Job Specification and Competency Requirements:
Candidate must be a graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Chemical Engineering or any related course.
Preferably 1-2 years working experience related to the job offered.
Knowledgeable in ISO 14001 is an advantage.
Must be excellent in verbal written communications with high degree of analytical ability, inter personal and organization skills.
Must be computer literate MS Word/ Excel / PowerPoint.
Fresh graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities:
Maintains and continually improves the established method and procedures being set-up for CCTFI's Environmental Management System.
Monitors the effectivity of programs developed by CCTFI and makes report to the General Manager and to the Board in cases of Management Review of the progress of the said monitoring.
Conducts trainings, orientation, team building and other seminars for CCTFI staff as need arises or as programmed by the company.
Assist General Manager in developing programs for CCTFI Operations including the improvement of the company and other related issues.
Performs root-cause-analysis of potential accidents/ emergencies that might take place in operations.
Establish and execute areas for improvements of the facility, energy and water conservation and other related issues.
Working Hours:
7:30AM - 4:30PM (Monday to Saturday
