WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the management and monitoring of Distributor Partner operation. Review and evaluation of DP infrastructure, relevant operational cost, and profitability.
Validation of contractual and non-contractual support to DP. Review of actual spending on DP allowance and oversee budget utilization.
Work closely with NDM, Field Manager, and other Sales Pillars on all cost management, remuneration options, and analysis of the Distributor. Responsible for identifying efficiencies and provide recommendations for re-investment or improvement.
Provide a regular report that shows KPI performance, financial health, and budget analysis to NDM, SMT, and stakeholders. Observe proper and timely execution of engagement and disengagement of DP. Assist in compliance checks and collaborate with other functions/departments to ensure all DP processes are within JTI standards.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
DP INVESTMENT REVIEW
Responsible for review and evaluation on Distributor Partner Infrastructure & OPEX and relevance to its area coverage and volume performance.
Perform analysis on profit & loss of Distributor Partner and assess the financial impact on JTI investment on any change request, price update, and business assumptions provided by Sales Management, Field Managers or DP
Ensure complete and accurate documentation to support operation cost provision in DP P&L
DP BUDGET & CLAIMS VALIDATION
Validate contractual and non-contractual claim/support of Distributor Partner.
Ensure all supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and within the agreed obligation of both JTI and DP.
Oversee actual spending of DP Sales Allowance versus budget.
Work with Sales budget team & finance in preparation of Sales allowance forecast, actualization, and reinvestment.
Perform transaction posting and report generation in SAP related to DP claims.
DP REMUNERATION AND IMPROVEMENTS
Work closely with NDM and other Sales function to review DP operation, assessing remuneration options, and support in setting the proper route to market model.
Responsible for identifying efficiencies, creation of programs to promote business continuity, and provide recommendations for re-investment or improvement.
Conduct cost comparison & analysis between DSO and DP operation.
DP KPI and P&L REPORTING
Provide /establish reporting process on KPI performances
Prepare report and analysis on profitability and financial health of DP based on current remuneration model.
Prepare summary report of DP headcount & infrastructure, route, and cost to operate. * DP ENGAGEMENT & DISENGAGEMENT
Support Field managers and HQ team on engagement and disengagement process of Distributor Partner.
Assist in compliance check conducted by NDM team and identify adherence in the contract.
Collaborate with other functions/departments to ensure all DP processes are in place and align with JTI standards.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
University degree or equivalent in Business Management and/or Accountancy
Minimum 5 years experience in DP Management, Budget forecasting, Reporting, and Analysis experience.
FMCG and Finance related industry is preferred
Fluent in oral and written English.
PC knowledge: MS Office (especially PowerPoint & Excel) very well and preferably Project Management like SAP
Advanced Excel knowledge and other data management tools
Advanced Analytical skills
