This is an opportunity to join an energetic team with a collaborative management group and work with affordable housing providers. New team members receive in-depth training to prepare them for their role. Additional training and professional development opportunities are also available, for both the affordable housing industry, and general business skills. The Customer Service Specialist will provide administrative and receptionist support for a team located in Columbus, Ohio. The candidate will use CGI's propriety IT systems as well as the Microsoft Office Suite to accomplish day-to-day tasks. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Provide administrative support for members located in the Columbus, Ohio office. . Call Center duties - answering inbound questions and concerns. . Respond to all of the customer's inquiries utilizing all available resources and program knowledge researching and exploring answers. . Identify and escalate unresolved inquiries to management. . Accurately and thoroughly record all interactions in the system of record. . Manage customer interactions to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction. . Verify and update customer information. . Identify and escalate priority issues. . Provide excellent customer service to participants, landlords, co-workers, clients, vendors and all stakeholders. . Monitor, record, and disseminate mail and email correspondence for the team members, as needed assist in the preparation of mass mailings. . Attend Teams meetings. . Ensure office supplies are organized and replaced as needed. . Assist team management with daily document management and retention procedures. . Ability to handle office equipment in a fast past environment using scanners, copiers and fax machines, postage meter, and letter stuffing machines. . May be assigned to other projects as needed. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . High School diploma/GED. . Minimum of two years of progressively responsible work experience for a public agency, or related work in the social service, community service, customer service and/or call center environments. . Knowledge of HUD and Housing Authority policies, procedures, and practices pertaining to the Housing Choice Voucher program, regulations and procedures. . Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills. . Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. . Strong written and oral communication skills. . Desire to work in a team environment. . Proven ability to accurately and timely complete tasks within the established timelines and quality standards. . Strong customer service skills. . Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated and proactive. .
