Job Description
The Sales Account Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners. Assigned to channel partners based on geography, channel, or market, the Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives. The Channel Manager also represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused on a partner vertical market.

What do you need to succeed
At least 4 years of full tech sales cycle (Outreach, Quote, Close) experience.
Account Management
Working Knowledge
Software: Salesforce and SalesLoft
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Soft Skills: Team player, can manage multiple workloads, work within tight deadlines, motivated to fulfil sales targets, responsive and customer-centric

Report to the Vice President of Channel Sales.
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and partners expectations.
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis.
Sell through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
Manage potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally and by strictly adhering to channel rules of engagement.
Lead solution development efforts that best address end-user needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements.
Drive the adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
Achieve assigned sales quota in designated partner accounts.
Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
Complete partner account plans that meet company standards.
Maintain high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
Organizational Alignment
Enlist the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
Closely coordinate company executive involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate.
Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
This position may have direct report staff assigned to support responsibilities within specific partner accounts.
