Summary
A Car Service Specialist is responsible for directing and coordinating all activities involved in the operations and maintenance of vehicle.
Task and Duties
A Car Service Specialist addresses complaints, resolves problems raised by customers, and assures their satisfaction on the services rendered to their units.
A Car Service Specialist coordinates activities of Automotive Technician, evaluate their capabilities and make recommendation for their tools and equipment needs.
A Car Service Specialist also evaluates cost of services needed, review proposals and quotations made by his Service Advisor.
Education and Training Requirements
A Car Service Specialist must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Technology. He must have at least two years' experience in the automotive industry.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
A Car Service Specialist must have good communication skills and be able to analyze and come up with solutions when repairing and maintaining vehicles. A Car Service Specialist should have excellent skills to handle the entire service staff.
