BILLING & TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST (WORK FROM HOME)
 
About the Role
 
We're looking for a technically minded Billing Support Specialist to help customers resolve billing, subscription, and product-related issues in a SaaS environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical support, solutions engineering, implementation, or customer operations experience. While billing experience is preferred, we're open to candidates with strong technical troubleshooting skills who can quickly learn SaaS billing concepts.
What You'll Do
Resolve billing, subscription, payment, and usage-related customer issues
Investigate problems by reviewing logs, reproducing issues, and identifying root causes
Support refunds, credits, payment failures, subscription changes, and usage-based billing inquiries
Partner with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to resolve escalations
Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and knowledge base content
Manage support tickets while delivering a high-quality customer experience
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Technical Support, Solutions Engineering, Implementation, Customer Operations, Billing Support, or a similar SaaS environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand APIs, integrations, usage limits, quotas, logs, and technical workflows
Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, or Operations teams
Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Based in the Philippines with reliable internet
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Stripe or other modern billing platforms
Familiarity with subscription billing, proration, refunds, credits, payment recovery, or usage-based pricing
Experience supporting technical users, developers, or API-driven products
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Zendesk, Intercom, Salesforce, Sentry, Kibana, or GitHub
Important Note
 
We're open to candidates with stronger technical support backgrounds and lighter billing experience. Success in this role requires strong troubleshooting ability, technical curiosity, and a willingness to learn modern SaaS billing and subscription models.
